Multipager - website solution for larger sites
This website type is designed for larger sites with multiple pages. The solution is used for dtu.dk, department sites and a number of other sites with a need for multiple pages. For larger and more comprehensive sites, news, calendar events and other page types with special functionality can be added.
Multipager sites are the most common type of website. In the past, we used it for all purposes, but in recent years there has been a trend towards creating longer pages where all content is gathered on one long page where you can scroll between sections (=onepager).
If you need more comprehensive content, the multi-page is still relevant. We typically work with two variants: One where we use pages with left navigation, which is suitable for websites with multiple levels of navigation (like https://www.dtu.dk) and another type where there is only one level - and therefore no need for left navigation (see e.g. https://designguide.dtu.dk).
